November 2021 – The Headland Bass Teams first trip to Miller’s Ferry ended up with a top 20 finish for James Quinlivan and Asher Peters. The team opened this year’s ABN High Schools Tiger Division tournament series in Camden, AL. The 5 varsity teams were all excited about a new lake. The weather had different ideas and a cold front settled in before tournament day. James and Asher were able to put together a 7 pound bag on spinnerbaits throughout the day. James was able to catch the Big Fish for the team, and will win the Big Mike’s of Headlands Big Bass Award. Following behind them for the team were Hudson Choquette and Cal McInnis with a 26th place finish out of the 152 boats.

The team fishes next in Eufaula on Saturday for the closer of the 2021 WSAT season. We look forward to everyone cheering on the weigh in at Lake Point
