March 2020 – At 4 foot over full pool, Lewis Smith lake in Cullman, AL made for trying times for the Headland Bass Team. Despite connecting with big fish in practice, anglers were unable to find the fish they needed on Tournament Sunday. In fact, in the 250 boat fiels only 8 teams were even capable of catching their 5 fish limit. Aaron Cherry and Hudson Choquette were able to finish in the 30’s thanks to 3 largemouth. Andrew Davis and Cal McInnis were spending all day trying to find a fish that would keep and ended up in the 70’s. Four of our teams were able to finish in the top 100.

We’d love to thank everyone that came out to support us. We have the best fans in the state and it really shows at our weigh-ins.
The Headland Bass Team fishes next March 14th on Lay Lake. This will be the 3rd Alabama Bass Nation Tiger Trail event.
