September 2019 – Aaron Cherry and Hudson Choquette managed to come out on top this weekend on Lake Mitchell. They were one the three Headland Bass Teams with top ten finishes. This was the second stop of the Wiregrass Student Angler Trail.
Hudson and Aaron were able to defeat the 58 boat field by using topwater baits on schooling fish throughout the day. The 4th place team of Davis/McInnis were able to find jerkbait fish on points, and filled out a bag afer firing up a school. Following behind them in 8th place was the team of Grandstaff/Quinlivan, they were able to find fish that wanted to eat carolina rigs on deep structure.
The team of Brasington and Hardy were able to find success in the Jr. Division with a 3rd place finish.
