August 2019 – Members of the Headland Bass Team were busy Labor Day weekend getting some delicious ribs ready for our fans and supporters. The Fall rib sale is one of the bass teams largest fundraisers. This year the community really wanted some and we had to cook over 700 ribs. There was plenty of help from our awesome team dads who cooked all night long, and our tireless team moms that worked the pick up line at Headland First Bank. Pitmaster Jeffery McCord made sure each one was seasoned and cooked to perfection. If you were one of our supporters to buy a ticket we thank you, and if you missed out we’ll be having another one in January.

The Headland Bass Team fishes next on the Mobile Delta September 14th for the Wiregrass Student Angler Trail opener.
