July 2019 – The Headland Bass Team marked the close of a very successful year at their awards banquet this past weekend. The anglers and their familes were on hand for a night for great food and awards. The pinnacle of this season was the Bassmaster Classsic Trophy, won by Gracie and Aaron. This really solidified Headlands’ place on the national stage. The team followed that momentum up with accolades all over our three fishing trails. This year we had multiple wins and top 10 finishes as well as big fish awards, team trophies, and AOY awards.
At the dinner we were able to thank Coach Hank Herbold for his year of service and welcome our new Head Coach Chris Grandstaff. We were also able to show our appreciation to some of the parents and grandparents that make this possible for these students.
Special thanks to all the parents that prepared such wonderful food.
