March 2019 – It was a Choquette/Cherry on top on Eufaula last weekend for the second stop on the EAHSB Trail. Gracie and Aaron were busy up north in Tennessee with a little tournament call the Bassmaster Classic, leaving their partners Hudson and Asher to defend their trail AOY points solo. Hudson Choquette managed to hold off the field alone to come out first on the podium. This is his first win since joining the team 3 years ago. He was able to secure a good bag ealy in the grass. He only stopped fishing to watch his teammates weigh in in Knoxville. Following behind Asher finished in 4th place thanks to a 5 pound chungus in his bag. He was able to find most of his fish deeper in brushpiles. Headland ended up with 3 teams in the top 10 and everyone else managed to weigh in a fish.
On the Jr. side, Fair/Sanders managed a 3rd place finish, Peters/Choquette 5th, and Knight in 10. This places all Jr Teams in the Top 10, a great accomplishment for our young anglers.

The team also was awarded first place team for the previous Wedowee Tournamnet and then the first place award for this tournament.

You can see the Headland Bass Team next on Lake Guntersville for the BASS High School Southern Open on March 30th.
