October 2018 – The Mobile Delta gave up a 7th place finish for the team of Alexis Grandstaff and James Quinlivan this weekend. During the Alabama BASS Nation High School Tiger Division opener, the duo managed to catch a 5 fish limit of 7.88 pounds. They manged to catch a lot of fish early on some soft plastics that had been working in practice. An hour before weigh in They cemented their bag with a 2.30 pound large mouth. Following them was the team of Cherry/Choquette who managed to qualify with a 4.34 pound bag for a 26th place finish. Just outside of the qualifying line was the Davis/McInnis team with 3.17 pounds in 37th place.
The Delta proved to be a tough fishery for the other teams finishing in 81st place. There were 124 boats in the event.

As always the team would be nothing without the help of our friends and family that make long trips to support us. The Headland Bass Team fishes next in the 3rd event of the Wiregrass Student Angler Trail on Lake Eufaula on the 17th.
