August 2018 – This years Headland Bass Team Awards Banquet marked the close of a very successful year. 17 Anglers were able to represent the school and community very well. Over three different trails our anglers were able to catch 1433 pounds of fish. There were multiple trophies and scholarships won, topped off with the 2nd place finish by Gracie and Aaron at the Bass High School Natioal Championship on Kentucky Lake.
It was a great evening to celebrate with our sponsors that help us achieve our dreams. We were also able to recognize our board members, who are gracious enough to serve. Tournament Directors Jeffery McCord, Darrel High, and Eddie Daniel, who provide a platform for our children to shine were there to help us celebrate as well. We were able to send off Head Coach Jason Cherry after 2 amazing years of service. The wonderful parents and families of our anglers who do so much unseen were celebrated as well.
We look forward to what
2018-2019 has to hold for these kids. Ribs are currently on sale for August 31st.
